Our expectations are high with regard to client service, product quality, ethics, and communication skills. We have a wide range of challenging and unique projects.

Qualifications: The successful candidate should have an educational background in civil engineering or engineering related curriculum, minimum of 5 years of civil engineering experience and have a working knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office. State of California Professional Civil Engineering License is required, or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
Capabilities: Strong Communication Skills (written and oral), Project management and time management skills. Design experience should include grading plans, utility plans, topographic surveys, demolition and pavement plans, post construction standards, specifications, SWPPP’s, hydrology, drainage, and hydraulic reports.

Responsibilities: Provide proper communication to be successful. Employ project time management, production of land boundary and topographic survey maps, and interfacing with staff, public and governmental agencies. Building and maintaining client relationships including developing business proposals for new projects. Field review and boundary research as required.
Qualifications: The successful candidate should have an educational background in civil engineering and/or surveying curriculum, a minimum of 5 years of civil engineering and/or surveying experience and have a working knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center and Microsoft Office. State of California Civil Engineering and/or Professional Land Surveyor registration required.
Capabilities: Strong project management skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, recent and relevant experience in surveying and map development including parcel maps, subdivisions, and ALTA/NSPS surveys.

ASSISTANT CIVIL ENGINEER
Civil Land Development— Residential, Educational, Commercial Site Development Projects and Public Utility Projects.
Position Title: Assistant Civil Engineer
Office Location: Chico, California
Term: Full Time Permanent Employment
Compensation: Competitive base compensation ($50,000-$75,000 starting per year depending on skills and experience) plus comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Paid Vacation, Health Savings Account with employer contributions (and employee options) for vision and dental needs, health club/wellness stipend, profit sharing & 401(k).
Civil Engineering Land Development firm actively seeks skilled and experienced Assistant Level Civil Engineer to join our thriving and growing Chico office.
The qualified and successful Assistant Level Civil Engineer will possess the following background, skills, and experience:
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
2. Communication skills: interact with clients, agencies and co-workers with clear, concise and clean language.
3. EIT certification (or working towards EIT Certification)
4. Must be computer savvy – Familiar with AutoCAD Civil 3D software and Microsoft Office.
5. Additional consideration given to those who can demonstrate past work experience pertaining to civil land development engineering projects such as single family residential and multifamily residential, schools, commercial, office, government and/or public works projects.
6. Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. without employee sponsorship and/or Visa transfer. Must have US citizenship or Green Card.
Assistant Civil Engineer overall role and responsibilities:
• Civil Engineer must be able to learn and utilize AUTOCAD 3D and provide civil engineering land development plans, specifications, and cost estimates for a variety of civil land development projects such as residential, commercial, and institutional site development projects. (Start to Finish)
• Coordinate civil land development project submittals with agencies and clients
• Prepare civil land development preliminary and final Engineer’s Opinion of Costs
• Complete civil land development earthwork analysis to determine cut/fill requirements
• Water Modeling / Fire flow analysis
• Hydrology and hydraulic analysis
• Provide support to Civil Engineer Project Managers
